Credit Officer for the Credit Control Team
Do you have previous experience in credit management at a larger company and thrive in a dynamic and eventful environment? Are you a relationship-building person who enjoys a role where you can express your curiosity and thrive in a changing system environment? We are now looking for a Credit Officer to join the Credit Control team, which is part of the Agriculture Division. As a credit officer with us, you will be part of a team of six people where we highly value helpfulness and good collaboration. With us, you play an important role in continuously developing credit processes and ensuring that we manage customer credit risks from a long-term and proactive perspective in accordance with the Group's Finance Policy.
Your Responsibilities
As a Credit Officer, you will work in a broad role with credit assessments and claims management regarding invoice credit within Lantmännen Lantbruk and Lantmännen Maskin. This will involve credit evaluations and credit decisions for new and existing customers, as well as ongoing follow-up and control of customer payments to proactively identify and address risks. Our customers range from small sole proprietorships to large international companies. You will manage your own customer cases and maintain close communication with our customers to find solutions to payment problems, as well as initiate and implement claims and collection actions when necessary.
Furthermore, the role involves phone and email service along with any other customer account management. You will collaborate closely with the business, customers, as well as authorities, banks, and similar entities.
The position is based in Malmö, where we have new, nice office premises just next to the central station. You will report to the Manager of Credit Control.
What You Need to Succeed and Thrive
You have:
- Preferably a university degree in economics or another post-secondary education in the field.
- Knowledge of credit work and how to interpret annual reports, financial statements, and credit reports.
- Good knowledge of the Office suite. Familiarity with M3 is an advantage.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
You are:
- Service-oriented and skilled at building trust. You can communicate with customers via phone and email, even under pressure. You always maintain a professional tone.
- Accustomed to analyzing and communicating complex information clearly and structured.
- Structured and meticulous with a sense for details but also have the ability to see the big picture.
- A team player who finds it easy to collaborate with others and contributes to a positive atmosphere. You are happy to help when needed.
- Independent and able to drive tasks forward on your own. You are good at navigating and prioritizing your work even when the pace is high.
- Comfortable working in a changing environment and thrive in a role where you have significant involvement in driving improvement work.
